When it comes to online dating, most people look down on it. They think it's impossible to actually meet someone you might like, so I'm here to stop the nay sayers because online dating is actually really fun with great results. Here are the top 5 reasons you should join an online dating site:
5. You can talk to people in your pajamas, and they won't have to know. One positive thing about online dating is you can be in the comfort of your own home, rather than standing at some bar waiting for someone to hit on you. No need to dress up and be uncomfortable. If you decide you don't care for them, you can just log off.
4. Ten times the possibilities! At times you can feel like you've met just about everyone in your city. Bars and clubs can be so limiting when it comes to possible dates, but on a dating site you aren't limited to just one city. You can look at singles from just about anywhere; the choices just never stop.
3. Telling them that you aren't interested is a lot easier and less awkward online. When your at a club and someone shows interest in you, but you just don't feel the same way, sometimes it can be hard to tell them that you don't like them. But online if someone sends you a wink, meaning they are interested, you can just choose not to wink back and they will get it. Simple as that.
2. Everyone's biggest fear without a doubt is rejection. There is nothing worse than hearing "no." However, online dating diminishes that fear. You don't have to face a girl when she tells you she doesn't like you. On a dating site, if you wink at a girl, and she doesn't wink back then it doesn't matter. You are able to avoid the embarrassment that rejection brings to going out and trying to meet people.
1. The number one reason to join a dating site is, it's fun! You get to talk to people from all over the country, no way are you going to be able to do that at a bar. Plus there is the excitement of getting new messages from people, and the excitement of meeting for the first time. You have nothing to lose, so why not try it out?
